The Speedster is taking Shape:

April 2012

The webmaster has been busy with a new addition to the famiy, so here are updates for the March and April speedster work sessions.

The Build is on:

February 2012

The boat tail is really starting to take shape as the ribs were formed and put in place. Most disassembly is winding down the frame has been sand blasted and received a fresh coat of paint.

Speedster Takes off:

January 2012

The first work session for the speedster has taken place January 7th. The youth team used the first work session to get to know the Model A, begin disassembly of the rolling chassis for cleaning and repair, disassembly and inspection of the engine, and layout of the new floor.

Speedster Youth Program:

Dec 2011

We have 12 youth in the Adirondack A’s / Jack Byrne Ford Speedster Youth Team which will be building a 1929 boat tail speedster. Work will commence on January 7th 2012 at Jack Byrne Ford.

Adirondack A's Fall tour:

October 2011

A successful fall tour to Norwich, New York to visit the Northeast Classic Car Museum while enjoying the beautiful fall countryside. (more here)

New England Meet:

September 2011

Founded in 1984, the Adirondack A's Model A Ford Club is dedicated to the restoration, preservation and general enjoyment of the 1928 through 1931 Model A Ford. Our members come from a 200 mile radius of Albany New York including Vermont.

Purpose:

The general purpose of this organization shall be to encourage the members to acquire, preserve, restore, exhibit and made use of the Model A Ford vehicle, model years 1928-1931, and all things pertaining to the Model A Ford this shall include literature, technical and historical information, and promotion of the introduction of ideas and fellowship among its members. These stated objectives and the purpose of this club are exclusive for social and recreational enjoyment of its members.
